Bird Watching
Birds meandering and chirping all around the farm and its locality is what really allures our guests. Sambhar Lake is the best place for capturing...
The Sambhar Salt Lake is the biggest inland salt lake in India located 80 km South-west Jaipur. The lake receives water from the endorheic basin which makes it a widespread saline wetland. Many legends and warriors are associated with the history of Sambhar Lake. Stretches to about 22.5, the lake water is glacially still and edges with a simmering frost of salt. A paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers, Sambhar Lake is a home of distinct bird species that can be found in the fresh-saline water ponds in the surrounding areas. What really entices the visitors in Sambhar Lake is the allure of flamingos. The tall, cute fowls with their performer tutus fly here in large number by the blissful Spirulina green growth that twists when the water reaches to a minimum level of saltiness. Sambhar Lake is a home of approximately 20,000 to 30,000 fledglings in the pale pink shade which can be seen meandering here and there and mumbling in the shiny water and salt. Imagine an elongated stretch of salt land with a luminous moonlight falls on it looking like white night right out of a mystical fantasy tale that could just exist in your imaginations.
